Enter the first 15 pages of your manuscript plus a 1-2 page synopsis for fiction or 1-2 page chapter outline for non-fiction. Open to all manuscripts– fiction and non-fiction. Entries will be judged according to appeal, content, flow, and writing.

*Note this is a contest entry. In the body of the e-mail, include your name, e-mail, physical address and phone number. Entries without this information will not be included in the contest. List the name of your book, genre, expected completion date, and a short blurb (think back cover copy).
*Entries must be appropriate for the CBA market.
*In a single document send :
*A complete 1-2 page, single-spaced synopsis.
*The first chapter or first 15 pages. Anything beyond 15 pages will be discarded.
*Entries should be in Times New Roman 12, double-spaced with 1-inch margins.
*Title, genre, and page numbers must be in a header at the top of the manuscript. DO NOT include your name in the header.
*Manuscripts will be entered in contest and sent to judges upon receipt of entry fee.
*Manuscript must be unpublished and not in contract with another publisher. Self-published books do not qualify for the contest.
Enter your best work. Proof and edit so your work is as clean as possible. Manuscripts entered in the contest ARE NOT CRITIQUED. They are judged solely on content and writing.
Devotions are a great way for new writers to get their first byline. Great devotions require tight writing, creativity, and powerful messages. As part of our Advance His Kingdom Contest submit up to two devotions. A professional editor will judge your work. Writers may submit two devotions for the contest.
